lean in - a mindful morsel

PS: Look for the latest Mindful Morsel every Wednesday on social media!
Check out this week’s announcement below 👇
Happy Wednesday to your beautiful heart 💚
First, a quick announcement: This is the last time you’ll be seeing the Mindful Morsel in your inbox (and this blog) — but don’t fret! It’ll still be around on Wednesdays, but it’s migrating to a different format on social media so that the inbox space I’m taking up is more dedicated to exclusive content (and the blog space gets refocused).
To make sure you still see the Mindful Morsel weekly, be sure you’re following Zenful Mindings with the Facebook and Instagram links at the bottom of this page (extra awesome if you use your preferences to ‘favorite’ so it shows up near the top of your feed).
And all that leads me to today’s mindfulness focus — lean into the shifts when things start to change.
Change is the ever-present constant in our lives, and sometimes I wonder how much time and energy we actually spend resisting it, especially when resisting change just because it’s change seems pretty futile.
How much easier would it be to practice presence and supporting yourself through the changes if you stopped resisting?
It’s really easy to get stuck in the past and ‘the way things have been’ because those are familiar places, but mentally staying there undermines the whole idea of mindfulness and presence in the now.
Today’s invitation is slay in your mindfulness practice by expressing gratitude for what has been and extending curiosity as you lean into what’s now.
With good energy,
