Hello, beautiful 💜

Our last lunar love letter was an invitation to lean into expansion purposefully with realistic steps forward. What did you decide to take action on? What feels good about it so far? Is there anything that is calling for you to shift course?

Any answer is cool and awesome. And if you are feeling a need to shift, let this be your cue to give yourself permission. That's what I'm doing.

A couple letters back, I mentioned that this cycle is about the transition from winter to spring. We’re at the peak phase of this glorious Worm Moon*, and we’re primed to harness the fullness of this transformational energy. To expand and take up space in the world. To let our natural shapes unravel.

Which is why this newsletter looks a little different. I’m scrapping most of what I had already written. Some occasions call for something that lends more depth.

Tonight was my daughter’s first gymnastics class. She has been waiting and waiting and waiting and waaaaaiiiiting for this. Please don't underestimate how much of a challenge this was for her. She's almost 5 and practices her own brand of self-taught gymnastics at home every. day. Her patience was an incredible feat.

And then finally - tonight was THE night.

Her excitement was so palpable that she couldn’t stop jumping once we got in the building. Literally. Actual literally.

She was just feeling her emotions so honestly and openly. And it was beautiful.

What was even more tremendous was her lack of hesitation to throw herself right in. Normally, she takes some time to warm up, gets comfortable in a situation, and susses out what’s the haps. And then she’ll do what she’s comfortable with on her own terms.

But this time she jumped right in. She lived her dream without apology.

Wow.

Let's all take a cue from that.

And as I was sitting there, it became clear: She’s blooming. Right now.

She was expanding who she is as a person. She was living her goddamn dream. Right in that moment.

And I realized I have to let go a little bit more now. She’s growing up. And blooming requires more freedom so she can fill herself up with more of what she loves.

So I’m harnessing the transformational energy of this lunar cycle to help me shift my parenting a bit – to give my daughter more room to grow into her own. To let go in ways that are supportive so she can harness her own transformational energy.

I’m always aware of how much and how fast she’s growing up, but tonight, the eve before this full moon, it really got illuminated. And I don’t believe that was a coincidence for me.

What’s being lit up for you? Is there some thought or feeling that keeps popping up? Some point of clarity making a grand and abrupt entrance? Feel free to shoot me a message to share. I'd love to hear all about it.

From my heart to yours, extra good tidings and well wishes for this luscious full moon 🌕
